Records Management Comes to Rwanda

Sixteen Rwandan financial institutions from the banking and insurance sectors will be undergoing 4 days of training in records management, focusing on financial records as an important resource in business organizations. Professor Justus Wamukoya will be facilitating the training and says that the goal is to create awareness on the importance of records and information in the financial institutions.
The training session was organized by the Private Sector Federation (PSF) and is designed to enable institutions to make informed decisions, keep track on policy changes, support continuity and consistency and provide evidence of business transactions.
According to Wamukoya, this new initiative will go a long way in mitigating the operational, financial and legal risks that are constantly plaguing the banking industry in Rwanda.
